Hi everyone, I finished my second BL project about a month ago, a BL Wheely King. I get speeds of 35-40 mph, 40 minute runtimes and it runs cool. Its a Blast!

Parts Used:
MM 6900kv Combo
Hpi Heavy Duty Differential gear
Team Orien 3900mah 6-cell rocket pack
RC4WD Stainless steel turnbuckels
Hpi 23t pinion
Hpi 93t spur

Heres a Link to a vid of it's balooning tires:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3nS0...e=channel_page

40mins with a 3900mah rocket pack? Im impressed.

Only thing I would suggest is to slam the suspension some how (longer links or shorter shocks, or both), and that will make it handle the high speed alot more stabley.

The 3s wont fit in the Wk's battery compartment so i chose a 6900 instead of a 5700.

so the 6900 won't take 3s? How hard would it be to modify the batt. tray to fit 3s? I plan on using a Zippy 5000mah pack from hobbycity (the blue one)

Modding the tray would be pretty hard, as you would have to make it longer and thicker, thus having to move the transmoission, electronics back (very hard). The second alternitave is to thicken the tray, then extend it out past the cars frame. The 6900 with 3s would give you around 76,000 motor rpm, I wouldn't suggest that. Already, my cars speed is crazy, but it could have better handeling. Like Sucicideneil said, it would handle better with shorter shocks. If you want speed, i would recomend staying with a 6-cell nimh or 2s lipo and using the 7700kv motor, or castle's new 9000kv motor, all with an rpm limit of 100k. 3s or 2s, you should use all heavy duty gears, as I found out the hard way.

from what it looks like I'll be running a BK ESC with a fiegao or CC motor. I still have a high quality 4200mah 6cell pack that i use now, and i don't plan on selling it unless i really really need $30 lol
