8ight-T light weight conversion? - 01.21.2009, 07:08 PM

I'm rebuilding my 8t and thinking about keeping it as light as possible using a smallish 6s pack and a 1512 3.5d/f with a V3 MMM.
I'm planning to run it in club races this year and I'm thinking that by running a small pack and motor (as opposed to a 1515) I'll get better handling and quickness even if I do have to change packs a bit more often.

So, has anyone got any thoughts on whether that combo will handle the load?
