Nice.
Now we need them to tolerate soft cased lipo, good hardcased/Roar legal lipo a just overpriced...

Hardcase packs will go down in price as they take the place of nimh in popularity. After using a few I love them for the durability.

A truly good quality hardcased pack over 3500 mah for 50 $ would be perfect.
I use loong max battery in my T4, they are like 30 $ and completly overkill for it :)

Well actually they already did. Apparenly any motor smaller than (I think) 67mm wide and 77 mm long was the proposition that I heard about and that is the only restraint. So pretty much any motor remotely practical for a 1/8 buggy qualifies.

Awesome news Joe, Not much ROAR down here but nice to know i can play. My only problem now is the hard case rules, I'll stick with RC Pro for now

I called my pastor, and can assure you, he said hell did not freeze over!
I am shocked, and glad. Whatever has gotten ROAR to stop suppressing technology is good for everyone.

I was worried, a cold front moved through the south and brought flurries shortly after that announcement.
As far as ROAR loosening up on the rules, It could be that the members were watching the forums and realized they were losing members. There are more castle setups out there than the sensor setups
