On 5s w/a 2200kv motor, that buggy is going to fly! My mbx-5 on 5s w/a 1512 1900kv motor is so fast, that on dirt, I had to turn down my punch control and I am only running 80% throttle on my radio!

Buggy looks nice by the way.

1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

Running lower EPA is reducing ESC efficiency. I would gear down instead.

I would dial in tons of punch control, lowest timing, and adjust the throttle curve otherwise I guarantee you're gonna have a heck of a time controlling that power. On my Hyper 8 using a 1512 2d (kv=2700) on 4s is stupid power and more than I can use. To take a ~10 ft jump on a moderate slope, I only need about a foot running start before the jump - and that's IF I can get the tires to hook up.

BTW: The CC pinions are 32p.

The 2200 is a beast, i can clear my driveway off a plastic kicker ramp with about 5 feet runup.... its hard to hit the ramp cuz the truck is as wide as the ramp

I run no punch control, 0 timing and just have a smooth trigger finger

i just fabed a little platform for the receiver
and i cut a little slot on the end for the on off switch, it looks very clean like it was supposed to be there :)
and i also started to do alittle wiring, i routed the servo wire and i shortened up the esc wire since it doesnt need to go that far.
(cant really see wiring in pics, its more for the on off switch, i just spent like 2 hours messin around and makin it so im proud lol

lipo and deans and uhhh oh yea the 14t pinion are comin in the mail monday or tuesday
and on friday im using my pay check to order a DX3S radio system!! :)
i think im gonna run it on my jrx2i for a week till i get my dx3s though
i cant wait another week lol
