If I unplug the sensor wire on my rx8, can I reverse motor direction by switching any two wires?

no need to you can change the drive profile for reverse rotation without physically changing anything- and even retain the sensor wire.
Read through the Rx8 Manual Pit tune>>> Motor Drive type(MT)>>>set it so all LEDS are on and reboot the esc. R/c Monster Team Driver Jq the car, LST, Sportweks turmoil pro Unconventional Techniques, Superior Results |

Yes it does work in sensored mode too. My RX8 was in reverse rotation when I was running my Losi motor, then when I switched back to the T8 it was still reversed - and worked. I then set it back to the correct way round (for my set-up).
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. |
