These two drawings were made by me. I made them from my own experience with Badlands on Rulux half ups. If you mount them on the usual outside bead, your side walls will be squished and look very weird because the whole tire has to be stretched. If you mount them on the inside bead like in pic #2. part of that side wall will be inside the rim and basically you will end up with a low profile Badland. Like the Proline LPR tires and rims.
The drawing is not representative of what really happens when you use the inside bead. The side wal will rest firmly on the outer edge of the rim and you can run a second bead of CA all around to seal that joint which will make your side wall firm and will make the truck handle very well and very stable.
The only downside of this tire/rim combination is mounting them. Those tires have to be stretched to fit on that inside bead and your fingers will hurt once your done.
I loved this set up so much that I ran these Badlands exclusively while bashing until there were no more treads on them.
