Fan Mount - 04.28.2006, 03:32 AM

I am not a master fabricator like many of you, but I thought I would share the fan mount I made tonight. It ain't perfect, but I am pleased with the results. It is made out of aluminum with a 5v fan plugged into channel 3 on the Rx. I blows a lot of air on the esc and motor.

Mount without fan.

Mount with fan.

Looks good! Stylish fan there.

How is the mount held up? What is it fastened to?

I like that you even put the guard on it. Cool! Nice job. You may not be a master craftsman but you did nice on this. Hard to see if it is perfect at 30mph with body on it. The faster the harder to. :D

Peace!

Thanks guys.

The ESC is sitting on a shelf made from a flat skid plate using FLM shock stand-offs to get it up off the chassis. The fan mount is connected to the holes in the skid.

UBEC is mounted under it with strong double sided tape.
