Just got word from Greg Wright at Castle that no Mamba XL over 8S is going to be released. Too bad.

Yeah, I hope Patrick reconsiders. Higher voltage is really the way to go with these big scale rigs. I'm even thinking about the new Castle Hydra Ice HV.
I know HV is cool, but its got to be a pretty low volume item. Hard to see where there is a lot of payback for Castle to develop it.
I remember back when I had a 45V MGM controller that the FETs available for the higher voltages were much more expensive and not as well suited for RC controllers. This was a few years ago, but I imagine this is still a factor.
