Revo Bulkess - 04.09.2006, 03:47 PM

If and when flm makes bulkess for the revo, i was wondering, if you use lets say 6 or 8 spyder ue 1/8 diffs, wont you need some cvds? Would you use normal mip ones for the revo or ue ones? Or does it not matter, doesnt the revo have thicker driveshafts near the knuckle area? I cant wait to see and get the flm bulkess, and for all the revo people, we're waiting! :027:

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

You would need a cvd for sure.

I wonder if ue would take the time to make one? Or would the mip's work with ue cups?

What do you mean by problems? If you mean the shaft (CV) itself, than the mip are alot better, just so you know:)

yea, i know the mips are better, but its a nitro truck :p what i meant is the length issue. on the maxx, when you go to the 1/8th scale diffs, the rdls dont work.

it shouldnt do that. aluminum cups and shims are your best friend. just shim em and it should be good for a while. i run a 10xl (10xl= ALOT of torque) and my evo has yet to strip a diff or slider.

Yeah, Dafni uses stockers on his too, except for an aluminum cup, and they seem to be unbeatable.

yep, I agree. I run 100% stock revo diffs on the Big Maximum on 5s and they have lasted over an hour of brutal running so far.
