RC-Monster diffs

Allright, seems like they have gone down in price. I have a few questions:
1. Has anyone here ever used these before or have seen them in action.
2. Any concerns? Seems like I can use a few manufacturers diffs (Mugen, AE, Losi).
3. Is it worth buying the whole kit or just the diff cases that accept the diffs (im leaning towards buying everything from there and calling it a day).
4. It also looks like I wont be able to use the standard Revo drive shafts, whats a good replacement? I think I heard the Traxxas ones dont hold up very well, can anyone agree/disagree.

You can use the standard driveshafts fine- I would but the complete kit

I have gotten them both ways, and just getting the whole kit is less stressful. You can purchase the diff cases and hardened Hot Boddies diff gears all right here for a fair price. At any rate they work just great.

How do you use the standard shafts? They are not dog bone/cvd type.

Mike includes his 6mm outputs in the kit - You just remove the cups from the diffs and use the RCM outputs and then you can use CVD's or the plastic sliders

For the centre you will need to get the RCM adapater if you wish to use plastic shafts...

Or you can just skip the stock shafts altogether, and have some custom shafts made for your setup at RCAlloys.com for $20 each. Once you have this setup installed you will be happy that you made the change.

Has anyone tried a Losi smart diff in these cases?

Yes, has anyone tried or even think that a smartdiff would work in these cases? I have these diffs also and I wonder what brand diffs I received with them?

I've been wondering the same thing. If they don't, I'd just modify the stock bulks and use Muggy diff cases.

ill report on these diffs soon, should be getting them tomorrow, but i have a crap load of studying to do so i probably wont bet to build/test them for a bit at least. I also purchased the center dogbone kid from KD, abd the look to be pretty beefy.
