You can use the standard driveshafts fine- I would but the complete kit

I have gotten them both ways, and just getting the whole kit is less stressful. You can purchase the diff cases and hardened Hot Boddies diff gears all right here for a fair price. At any rate they work just great.

How do you use the standard shafts? They are not dog bone/cvd type.
