CRT Mechanical brakes or not? - 04.08.2008, 07:13 PM

This might be a dumb question, but do u have to use the mechanical brakes on a BL CRT? Cause with the center diff, it would direct drive and be able to use motor braking and have reverse, correct me if i am wrong.

You don't need the brakes. In fact, the brushless motor mount kit eliminates the extra servo mount to shave weight.

You can do both - the original setups dropped the brake for weight etc however the advance guard are going back to brakes for - front / rear break balance tuning and reducing the load on the esc/motor/batteries
