I take it you'll be running a 4s pack since you're considering the Novak system? What vehicle will it be used in? I haven't seen/heard of any issues but there are many MMM/Neu users out there. IMO the Novak systems are not powerful enough for a MT/Truggy. That depends on how you drive I guess. But ANY MMM/Neu combo will easily be twice as powerful as the Novak. Even at only 4s.

why wont the Novak HV have enough pwr? Im planning to use it in the E revo. its seems to be fast on the videos. Yes, I could only do 4S. Maybe I should spend extra and get the best. MMM/Neu. thanks..

If you want some numbers, the Novak systems put out 750 watts (1HP) peak. The only advantage I see to a NoS is that thy are sensored and therefore easier to control at LOW speeds. But who drives slow these days? If you were doing nothing but racing on a tight track where you wouldn't see speeds of more that 35mph then I'd say get the Novak.

OTOH, MMM/Neu can easily make 1500 watts (2HP) peak or more AND be more effiient while doing so. It means you need better batteries, too, so plan for that. A pack that can dish out 80-100A continuously would be alright.

and then this motor for racing: http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...512_2dF&cat=20

for bashing: http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...15151ys&cat=20

for uncontrollable speed (the way I like it): http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...5_1.5dF&cat=20

MMM runs the Neu's smooth as butter. It also ran my Align 600xl 6 pole motor smoothly too. Easily twice the power output of the novak and much more efficient.

Mine didn't even cog with the 600xl and that's a 6 pole motor. I crawled around with it very slowly and everything was very smooth.
