Wow, that's a huge amt of power. Do you know how many amps you are pulling? Perhaps that's a bit much motor (high kv) if you are getting it that controller hot. The MGMs are very tough. I can tell you if you tried to make that much power with 4,5, or 6S you would have a flaming wreckage by now. You may need to go higher voltage even if the temps are not controllable (or gear down to lose power)

Thats kinda what I was thinking of doing w/ the muggy roller I have, as well as the MGM 9932 esc I have as well. Perhaps on 10s and lower kvs tho.

Nice truck tho. About 5000x faster than the nitro w/ the 427 engine in it.

Nice. You need to get a lower kv motor though.

my 6s muggy move!

8s may be surely bad in ESC.
A motor of low KV that I expect it.
There is not a fund now because I bought RC8 and a TEKNO set.
I can be satisfied very much even for 6s, but cannot come back if after all I feel 8s.
OK, I will do it how…Because a price is too high, does NEU have a recommended motor?
I wait for Medusa Products Afterburner 80size.

6s looks like fun, more controllable.

What are the temps? Are you getting shut downs?

Getting a 80mm Medusa will not help. Its basically the same motor as a 1521.
You are spinning that motor very very fast. Beyond what is recommended. Lots of power, but lots of heat as a result as well. How many amps are you pulling, and what are the temps of the motor and esc?

Getting a lower kv motor and gearing up may be a better way to go than gearing down that setup.

MAX amps 370A of ESC.
Is it continuation ??
The power does not fall. slow down.
MAX TEMP 100 ℃full throttle around 4 minutes.
Motor 65 ℃-70℃
I change pinion 10T of it first of all.
And I change it because the tire bat land is heavy.
