If I'm going to use a motor like a 9xl what are the prior things I must change in the E-maxx truck. 18 cells are my choice.

From what I've been told:

Steel idler in the tranny
Strobe Slipper
CVDs all around

Sleebes

That should hold up fine, but if you want a bit more protection, you can get aluminum diff cups, the stock plastic ones are weak.

i would go for the flm hybrid bulks. they are MUCH stronger with the 1/8th gears and you'll find the stock bulkheads are a very big weak point on the truck.

lol, wut luck. you should still e-mail mike just to onfirm if anythign is outta stock. I wanted deans wires but it was outta stock, foudn out there was \still a bunch. Mike fixed the site right away.

Won't need plyer's to adjust the tension against the slipper plate. Instead of a locknut it's a big ring and instead of the metal spring it's a rubber block thingy, thus the name sprong.

It's not only useful, the material used in the sprong retains it's shape very well and applies pressure evenly, unlike the spring, therefore the spur gear does not wobble compared to the spring setup.
