Looks like a neat idea. Hopefully they can get it to go a weee bit faster. :)
Out of curiosity; how would a set of ducted fans work on a light R/C? I guess it depends on how much thrust they can generate...

Well, I forget who's law it is exactly, but it's when air is forced through a narrower channel, it accelerates. For example, blowing air in a funnel. If you could get it to accelerate enough, then it might work. But I think I'm just babbling! ;)

Sounds like a new project! LOL!
It works well for the aircraft! Why not for a light car?

I got bored one day and put a E12 rocket into a BL FLM Stampede, that turns on with the 3rd channel..
Seemed to get up to top speed a lot faster :027:

I'm not sure how large a rocket motor can be put in his chassis but twin "D"'s could make it move pretty quick.
