Hmm, i'm not an expert, but I will give it a try. Some may correct me, though.

Most guys run only one motor, more than 99% of the BL fans, really. Dual BL is very rare, and in most cases the same result could be achieved with a bigger motor anyway.

As you have seen, there are plenty possibilities. It all comes down to how much money you want to spend. And if your goal is speed over runtime.

At the moment, a very popular setup for 14 cells is the Feigoa 9L on a BK Warrior 9918. You will have a hard time finding something with a better price to performance ratio. And most people seem to be very happy with this setup.

Also, you could even use this controller for a more expensive motor later on.

Feiago 9L + Warrior 9918

The nuts on 14 cells. You can get faster motors but require 16 or 18 cells to run them.

The 9L on 12 cells could be geared to be in the low 30 mph range comfortably, and it will have excellent acceleration and torque. Of course, the cell quality is a big factor, especially on the lower cell counts.
