The clamp part won't fit over the end of a standard lehner.
Exactly. The aluminum would short out the windings on the motor. Aside from that, the back of a Lehner isn't exactly flat because of the traces, even if you wanted to make a non-conductive clamp piece.
Do you really have to clamp the Lehner's? There isn't any danger of them pulling apart like other motors. If anything I would clamp around the circumference to maximize heat dissipation into the heatsink. Some type of thermal grease would help too, if it isn't there already.
the heatsink was designed specifically for the feigao's, because the end is known to pop off. that won't happen with the lehner, if you want it for looks just leave the clamp part off, otherwise, any heatsink will work really, you'll really have to work to get that lehner hot enough to need a heatsink

Somebody else is using one with his Lehner by leaving off the back cross piece and using two washers and socket head screws instead to retain and put tension on the rear.
The Lehners won't pop apart easily like a Feigao, but the front has been known to pop off a time or two on some even though they are threaded on.
This heat sink works perfectly on the lehner motors. I'm using one on my 1930 in my LS10. Although, it really doesnt need it. The lehners run cool. If I ever take the motor out for maintenance I'll probably just take the heat sink off and save the weight.
My Lehners (1930 and 1940) seem to run about the same temp with or without a heatsink. I probably have enough mass at the motor mount to remove enough heat there.
