Question extra long gmaxx - 07.28.2005, 07:40 PM

I have the gmaxx chassis. I have used the extension in the rear. I want to know if any one has tried to extended the front an inch as well as the rear. I am in the process of making the skid and top plate for servos.

Peace!

Never tried it. The extended g-maxx is a nice length, allowing great handling without having a negative effect on the turning. I would be curious to know how it turns out, though!

I don't know yet mike. It still looks like the pic. I have not fixed my rear. Did fix shocks though. There is no gears in the rear end. I tore the teeth off the pinion shaft. Need to get them 7.5 ordered. I get it back together.

Hey Mike or any one else that may know. On the front a arms of the integy pro 3 suspension. I want to know what you supposed to use for setting up the top a arms where they mount to bulk heads. I have the group of little white washers. Is that what i am suppose to use.

Yes, the white spacers are for the uper arms. I use the stock black clips(easier) on mine, though. Also, the RDLogics cvds will work, but you have to turn the pillow balls in as far as you can(without binding/limiting steering/suspension movement). You will have to mess with the turnbuckle length once you get it all set up.

Thanks mike. On the turn buckles. Did you use the stock or integy ones? The integy seems to long.
