tom255, i see what you're saying about the esc. i have no issues with it though. it does take off a little on the soft side, but putting out this much power i would have to feather the throtle anyways. in a heavy truck that im trying to get wheelies or flips from a stand still, i could see the issues, but for this car its great.
I had the same problem with my RS4 Pro 2 with the 2-speed tranny. I spent a few minutes doing little tweeks to the tension on the spring. I have to get that car out of the basement. You guys will love how it looks.

i think my problem is not knowing which screw to adjust with. i think i could be adjusting the wrong one, because i'm not getting a responce from it. i'll just pull it apart and see whats going on in there.

thanks for posting the vid. the first pass i made on that vid does look faster than the second, maybe i did get that 51mph.
