that is a shame BP, It's good no real damage was done. As mkrusedc said, the gum throwers will get theirs. karma is a grade A bitch.
I know first hand. I was a bad kid, caused trouble, stole, lied, fight for no reason other than to fight. I got run over by a car and have permanent injuries from it. I learned.... the hard way, but I learned and am a better person for it.

yikes - i guess i'd better not make anyone mad on here (or more mad than i already have.... )
one word: karma. no matter who it is, what they've gotten away with or for how long, karma will get them eventually. that's how i try to live my life - i have a bad temper, so it's taken me many long years to keep it under control. and it's gotten me in trouble before too, which is the best lesson.
even though it's your pride and joy, just remember that it's only 'stuff'. stuff can be replaced or fixed. if your best friend was attacked, or your mom was threatened, then i'd say hunt 'em down and beat them just to the point of almost not seeing a tomorrow. but stuff is stuff - fix it, be more aware of who may be acting suspicious, and let it go.
a good example: my boss has a black audi a8. i noticed one morning when passing it on my way into the parking garage that it had a HUGE dent in the back - right where the A8 badge goes. i talked to him about it, and his 16 year old son went to a club in detroit that weekend, and said it happened in the parking lot. i asked if he was ready to kill his kid, or sue the club (not that it would do much good), and he just looked at me and said calmly, 'why? what good would either of those things do? it's just a car, and can be fixed. i'm just glad my son is ok. i'll just make sure he doesn't take my audi to downtown detroit anymore.'

Yeah, I'm a pretty good-natured guy until someone messes with me. I figure if someone wants to take the risk of doing something just plain mean to me, then they automatically get what they deserve. "Live and let live", "an eye for an eye", etc.
And it's not so much the fact that some thing was damaged/messed with, but rather the idea or point behind it...

Damn, that sucks some idiot couldn't find a better place for used gum...
It's like when some bastard broke my car's window to steal an RC car that was hardly visible (and it was at night). That car was worth $650+, and the window replacement was $250. And, it happened at work... Now I keep EVERYTHING in the trunk, but the guys at work think they would recognize the guy who did it, and if I ever see him, he's not going to get away with it.

Another side of it, is that whoever did it, is trying to invoke a repsonce that will make you look bad. Its been like that since bronto's were busses, I know , i was there
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Yea, I keep everything very valuable in the truck if I can. However, the tinted window's do help (no one really knows whats inside unless they press their face to the car and have the proper light).
Which RC got stolen? Anyone I've seen?

I actually use Zaino. I have the kit, and the claybar takes off pretty much anything. I once had to claybar the ENTIRE car when a guy on my street got his house painted. The paint got carried by the wind and polka-dotted my whole car. Took me literally a whole Saturday to wash/claybar, re-wash, then wax it (3 coats). Claybar is awesome but it takes everything short of the paint off, hence why I had to re-wax it.
However, it was pretty cold this morning so the gum was hard. I just walked up with a rag and it crumbled as I wiped it off. Really not a big deal...but as Brian said, it was the thought behind it...if someone is screwing with my car, they are screwing with me.

I have a Black G35 Coupe.
Its actually my dad's, but he rides his motorcycle to work so I drive it everyday as if it was mine all along (my dad even refers to it as "your car"). I think he's driven it a grand total of like 4 times the entire year lol...
If I catch whoever did it in the act the first thing I'm gonna do is give him a good flurry of verbal assaults and we'll see what happens from there.

A motion activated camera concealed some where near your car would be a good way to catch someone on tape & in the act. Some people just have no respect for anyone or anything, and think they can do as they please to have a little fun at someone else's expense. Hopefully though you'll catch them in the act next time and the fun will be at their expense = expulsion with any luck. Quick wit is handy too, Im a master of it at times, but other times its takes me a while to think of the best come backs, which sucks since by then its to late....

Honestly, just bite your tounge. You never know who carries what theses days, and no one gives a s**t who gets hurt or worse, killed anymore. Atleast living near the big D that's how it is.

Most of us who are no longer teenagers... realize that doing things to retaliate like beating the crap out of a guy or doing damage to his property... is NOT worth it. Even if you really want to... and are willing to. You gotta stop yourself before you end up in some deep sh$t.
I had to go to court once... just for getting physical with some teenagers (I was only like 21 myself) who thought they were so cool harassing my wife and friends while we were trying to play tennis. I stopped them got in their face and took one of them off the court by his punk ass neck. I didn't even beat them up ar anything... and I still ended up in court cause their parents were scum just like the kids and could not see the right and wrong. Fortunately the judge was smarter than this family.
I learned that it doesn't matter if you are right.. you better be careful.

I know the feeling there BP-Revo. i've it happen to my truck(not quite as nice as your car but i still like to keep it clean and keep it looking nice). A good beating makes for a good story, but sometimes doesnt have the effect that words may have.

I had a XTM X-Cellerator that was pretty much stock with some Dirt Works tires on it, with a MM 4600, CC BEC, Impulse 4s 4800mah 20C Lipo ($175 my price!), and a custom body. The thing was a very tough truck, and was my only basher at the time when I was running it. Unfortunately you never got to see it...
