I have almost all the Kontroniks, but not the PowerJazz. I'm trying to get Mike (Kontronik Mike) to make the PowerJazz for car use, but it might be out of the question. I have the Jeti SPIN-200, Actronic 120 and 75. My own 15S brushless ESC might be done sometime next year. I have other sources for HV ESC though.
Are there any HV ESCs that are suitable for 1/5 scale car applications straight out of the box?
The Schulze 40.160, Actronic 120, BK might come out with some new controllers and mine if the engineer gets the programing right. I'm also talking with 2 factories and one for sure will have 2 HV available (12S and 15S) and the other is still thinking about it.

Thanks. That Schulze 40.160 looks like a real beast. I am surprised MGM doesn't offer something comparable.
that 40.160 was/is the smoothest big CAR ESC I've ever used.. I just love the big FETs on them..
I like the Schulze, but I have smoother controllers. If my controller has the same start up as the plane controller, everyone will be blown away. I like the big FETs as well. The SO-8 FETs just looks fragile .
Plettenberg, Neu or Lehner all have big motors for 1/5 scale. Plettenberg has the Bolido which has a shaft to fit the 1/5 scale pinions. Neu had the 22 series and are here in the USA. Lehner has the 36 series and I've heard the 3080 is capable of putting out 14HP. Man I want a 3680. I know a factory that can make a 8000mAh that can discharge at 250A and you can also charge at that rate, but I still have to get an answer from them if that is true. I also know a factory that has a new battery that has 6000mAh capacity and can discharge continous at 750A.
