Braking is also much smoother, and now seems to allow you to just hold light brake for as long as it takes for the vehicle to stop. I don't remember being able to do that with the old software. The whole drive is just seems more relaxed and sedate (almost brushed in feel)...until you open the taps.
I know I'm just telling you lot what you already know, but just thought I'd spout my opinion. Good job Castle!

are you the crazy one that puts two mamba max 5700 in a tamiya?
its good to know anybodies opinion tbh as everybody's setup is different.
I have tested it with my hacker c40 8s and the control does seem improved somewhat but tbh it drove that motor very well anyways so the only thing i really notice in that setup is the change in the smoothness of the throttle control and the brakes.
take off when you goose it seems to be very reliable even with the ss5800 that i tested briefely.
But there is a new characteristic which i don't think is cogging but rather just a stammering of the rotor due to me trying to baby it off the line to see how smooth the motor is.
Its like the motor is not getting magnetised enough to jump to the next pole so it just goes back and forth untill you put enough trottle to power it past that step.
But i think i might be able to set the esc to start at a higher throttle at start using the graph feature making the esc have a higher minimum throttle point that's just enough to start the motor no matter how much you try to baby it.
ill try this out and get back on this:
