Actually my 18T has seen its share of high speed on road crashes (as in 40+) and I have never broken a part on it (knock on wood)...

Thats some good luck with the 18t. I have had a few and they are sturdy little trucks. I did not break mine as much as the mini t.

Ive always heard that the 18t's have issues with the diffs and the spur gear because their is no slipper... But ya I got a little jealous that my bro ordered a SW4600 so I decided to order myself a SW ESC just for the heck of it. I still have to find something to put it in lol.

Forgot to update you guys... He got the SW4600 combo and its a perfect fit. All he needs to do is get a motor mount. I told him to look into the Mini Quake 540 mount on ebay. Any other options?

Ill be happy with it if it does wheelies but Im guessing it will flip from a standstill if I disable the slipper which I wont. (want to keep the diffs) Im still very curious on how fast it will go. The tires expanded as big as the stock mamba-25 setup at half throttle with the SW4600 setup. Im guessing 45-50 mph which is plenty fast!
