It's a CC product......why would one wait for testing? Even if it sends off an Indian signal it will get replaced pronto. I don't see a reason to be hesitant. Castle has the best customer service going.
Guess I've gotta toss the 6mm connectors.:')

Picture this, I still have to send them my HV110 and my MM. My time goes 100% for my daughter and the 10% (For the I give 110% effect) goes for running my business. Good thing my suppliers can drop ship to my clients now. Before it was a pain.
Edit: I'll give myself 1%. When she's busy eating and sleeping. I'm usually here .

Giggity, giggity.......... giggity-goo
Man I have been off the forum for too long! I am for sure buying a MMM up at the intro price. It's bigger than I originally thought, wow, it's even on the big side.
On a side note, how do you mount the thing? zip-ties?

Well I am glad its finally being put into production and selling. The best deal for me is reguardless on how well Castle is testing it, Its still being assembled else where. So I seriously doubt that Castle is road testing every unit being processed. Same goes for the motors! So I would like to personally thank all the hampsters paying for thier injections of Sacarin for testing. because this will give me some insight to how well the effects are. If we all see 6 forums up and running bantering on in a bad way much like the past has been on the fact of the MMM not being released. Well sure signs will point that Castle might of reacted too quickly based on a little slipping of the lips.
Hope fully we wont see that effect and the rest of us monkey's waiting to join in on the fun will be hitting the shelves, forums, and yes, RC Monster for our addiction on a full BLMT system.

Point well taken. Sounds like you have your priorities in line. Not enough people like you in this world.

Nah, Castle assemble all their ESCs in-house...and I'm pretty sure that when they posted up the photo-tour of their facility, they showed the testing area where they test each unit.
It's fantastic to see that the MMM is so close though...I musta read through the new product page half a dozen times lol! I just wish I had a reason to snap one up right now.

The MMM is being assembled in our facility in Kansas. Not else where.
We don't "road test" each unit -- it would take too much time, and we would have to buy too many cars to actually road test them.... (Especially if I was driving! Ask anyone about the EMAXX sized hole in our wooden fence behind the shop!)
We do, however, test each unit for circuit completeness and part placement, (optical inspection), for full functional testing (such as voltage cutoff, torque limiting, etc.) and for full load capability. These are done as separate tests during production.

Oh, so that's what the made in USA label means!
Patrick, I think you should put up pictures of this "e-maxx sized hole", you know, just to prove how powerful the Mamba Monster is and all. I am sure no one would laugh or poke fun at you.
BTW, thanks for the info on your testing procedures.

Hey, that's:
Made in the USA*
*using US and foreign origin components
Can't say "Made in the USA" (unqualified) in California, unless you cut down the tree, and whittle the toothpicks yourself, make the carton material (chew up the pulp and spit onto screens to make the paper -- and I'm not really sure how to make ink...) and pack it yourself, using only fuel you created yourself (digging for coal in your backyard? -- How else could you prove it was US origin energy?) to run your business. Remember, people have been sued in California because their entire product was made in the USA except for ONE SCREW that was made in Taiwan. We don't want to give the lawyers MORE money, now do we? The sad thing is... I'm not kidding.
And I'm sure you won't laugh at my fence hole. It wasn't really my fault, I didn't know it took so long to stop an Emaxx going 70mph...
Good thing Mike was able to jump out of the way.

Patrick,
Will an HV version be coming out soon? I don't want to keep bugging you about it. I just would like to have a great US based company coming out with HV products. I asked Mr. Schulze if he could make a car controller that will handle anything close to the SHV and he said, "Nobody in Europe will run with more than 14 LiPos because 60 Volts are maximum for our applications by law". I will sign the waiver and get a few SHV Monster Max or just a 12S capable Monster Max will do.
