Duct tape balls up - reason its not recommended. Use 3M strapping tape and degrease the inside of the tire before you apply the tape. You have one wheel where the tape has balled up or come loose and bunched up with the liner. The others will prob follow suite before it over. Duct tape can make a mess inside of a tire!

great...next time ill use 3m strapping tape. how do you degrease. i cleaned them with soap, is that good enough? how do i balance the tire/wheel now that i have them glued already. can i do this without having to buy a wheel balancer? and what if it is unbalanced, how can i balance them...put strips of tape on the inside wheel to counter wieght distrubution.?

lead tape works best if you can only put weight on the rim (ie tires already glued)

And as for degreasing, metho usually does the trick. I've also use soap/water successfully, just rinse it good and make sure its dry.

I use denat alcohol for degreasing tires and wheels prior to glueing. Sounds like the soap and water was ok on 3 of your 4 wheels, but for some reason the one you're having probs with, it didn't work as well.

Anything that will let you suspend the tire/wheel and allows free rotation can be used as a balancer - look at an airplane prop balancer in somebody's catalog, you'll get the idea. Lots of things used to the balancing - lead tape is prob easiest.

yea that video was pretty funny, but it doesnt look like 12 inch tires to me..more like 8 inch.

yea i heard most use denat. alcohol but i didnt have any, and what is metho. any household products contain that? i used my mouthwash one time cus it said it contained denat alchol.
do you guys think gorilla duct tape would work? i dont have any lead tape. gorilla tape is pretty heavy, or is that still too light to counter balance? ive been trying to do that but its still shaking and offbalanced. this seems very hard, im like trying to guess where i need the strips of tape and its not working. it seems like EVEN if i did put the tape on the correct side, it would still shake and be unbalanced cus i need to ALSO put it in the correct place. i think thats why its moving from left to right as well as shaking.
i seriously thought the white dot trick would tell me where the heavy side is, heavy side with the white dot stopping at the bottom.
do you guys think maybe it is balanced but the tape rolled up to one side of the tire ( left or right of tire , instead of up and down) which is why the white dot is stopping at random places, and the tires is spinning in a squiggly line?

Lol sorry I think metho is what you guys called denat. alcohol. It's methylated spirits, just ethanol with a bee's dick of a percent of some other crap to make it undrinkable to avoid alcohol taxes... use it as a solvent etc.
