Yesterday I ran the B50 5s hacker with 3s A123 on the hacker sport ESC and needless to say I smoked the ESC within a minute of use. The thing just melted away.

In my Rustler, I snap the HPI dogbones with 6s A123 and heavy beatlocks wheels. Will be going over to the heavy duty HPI dogbone setup this Saturday. When the MGM 16024 comes in, I'll be running 7s A123 in the Rustler and see how well it holds up.
Interesting, I also have a b50 5s hacker, and planned to run it in my tt-01 on 3s lipo. Just for speed runs. Do you think a MM will handle that, or is it too hot for that esc? Planned to use a neu 3s 5000mah 25c lipo, and gear the tt-01 25/55 (max gearing with the stock motor mount)

Put a fan on the mamba max and it should do fine. I ran the B50 5s in both my pan cars. On the 60+oz pan car, it ran on 3s2p A123 was just too much power to control it right. In the 45oz pan car, on 3s A123 it was just way too much power as well. Both cars have Mamba Maxes with additional caps and fans running.

Edit:

Small Pan car roll out was 1.9.
Big Pan car roll out was 2.4.
