This is one of them

If you are running on 5S, don't tell me. I don't want to know about it.
And our cars weren't designed to run on electricity either.
We have a habit of not doing what we are supposed to.

Now if we just had a CC controller that was designed for 5-6S operation.... :)
Sorry Patrick, we give enough headaches as it is.

Should say that 5s is completely experimental and not supported. You take the risk (whatever that may be) into your own hands. If you frag it don't send it back to PdC saying you were running in your rustler on 2S and you don't know what happened. Pay the generously low $50 repair fee and be honest.

I was just thinking. The mamba max says you can run 12 cell NiXx. I've had my nickel batteries at 1.5V off the charge before, 12*1.5V = 18V.

A123 is 3.6V at full charge, 5*3.6V = 18V.

So technically, it should work right? It must be within the design spec of the MM, even using the built in BEC...

i cant think of why it wouldnt work for you, on mine (older one) i have to drop the voltage a little when the 5s lipo comes off charger (21v) to about 20.3-20.5 and then its all systems goooooooooooooooo
