I think its actually more work to fit an E-Revo tranny into it. Follow the how-to (sticky in Revo section) in order to lock the stock transmission into 2nd gear. It really isn't that hard, once you understand what you need to do. Then with either Mike's motor mount or the Tekno kit, you can mount the motor, and all electronics.
On my Revo, I have a mix of parts from Mike and Tekno... I am using Mike's motor mount, and the Tekno battery tray and ESC mount.
