I had a similar issue with a bad steering servo. As I pulled the throttle the servo would twitch a lot and stay off center. It did not casue any issues with the control of the esc though.

Try a rec pack, and make sure it is fully charged, a pack with low voltage will cause all kinds of problems...

try switching your steer servo out like the boys above have said
my buggy has a twitching steering servo but its a nitro its even worse when steering

I think we maybe on track. I tried the stock reciever and same problem. I unhooked the steering servo and problem went away. But there is no steering servo hooked up. Im going to hook the stock steering servo up and see what happens.

Not running a BEC.

It looks like the problem was a brand new Hitec. I only rode on this new servo a few times. I put the a stock revo servo in and its all good. Alot weaker steering but she runs....

I'm off to BaSh!!!
