What type of pinion for E-REVO - 08.18.2008, 07:35 PM

Could someone help me on pinion type for the E-Revo please. I ordered mod1 and 32P with 5mm shaft opening. Will one of these work with the E-revo spur gear on an NEU motor.

Yes - Use brians calc to work out the right size - gear for 35-40mph for track and maybe +5 for bashing...

You should probably pick some up in the 18 - 21t range.

Thank you, I will be putting the Neu 1512 df in the truck and I was under the impression that this motor was somewhat high in the rpm range for the E-revo and since I was going to be running the MM until the MMM comes out, I opted for 14 tooth with the 61/62 on the spur. Will this make the truck a wheely monster? I would rather see 40+ mph than wheel stands. If you think I can safely turn 18 to 21t I'll pick some up.

Use BrianG's calculator but... I have the stock pinion in my e-revo, and have the 1512/2.5d. I think with a 22t pinion I would be around 40.
