I built my dream Rcs:
TXT-1 with all the optional aftermarket parts you can dream off, and BL power (albeit novak since the MMM didnt exist at the time).
GorillaMaxx with all the aftermarket parts you can dream of and BL + lipo power = my current truck.
Im living the dream....

That thing in my avatar is as close as I'm gonna get. I'm gonna be shamelessly egotistical on this one and say I did what I set out to do ;) and I wanted to make something like MutantMaxx when I was a kid.
And yes it will slaughter almost any RC remorselessly.. my running joke is that I hope it never gets hit by a Geo, the Geo would be totaled :)
It's the best of all wheeled RC worlds, all terrain all weather plastic RC destroyer. It's my only RC surface vehicle and it takes the place of 5 or 6 (saves room) and it's a blast.
You guys have been a big help- thanks again!

My dream would be a super reliable 6x6 truck, I've got one in the works, so just hold tight and we'll see what comes of this plan.
PS: Anyone got 2 lst wheels and tires with the solid tread?

An 8th scale M1A2 Abrams, all metal.
Cost would start at around 3k......
My realistic dream in process is a scale trail truck with some good crawling ability, only in the planning stages right now.

I sort of took the route that Redshift did.. and had an idea for a dream basher and just went for it. Converted Revo 3.3, Tekno conversion, 1515 2.5D, RPM arms, Vantage chassis, Robinson Racing fwd only diff gears, OEMRC esc with Sportbec BEC, ACE servos and huge 7"wheels.
Despite all of my brushless conversions (4 now), I cannot state how fun this one has been. I usually run on 6s and the esc never even warms up. Once I get some steel CVDs I may try up to 10s and see what happens. As of now, I notice the center to rear plastic drive shaft shows signs of being twisted.

I use the MMM in my Hyper 8 with a 1515 2D, I have a Sentilion OEMRC esc in my Revo now. That picture was taken before those changes.

Mine would have to be an MCD Baja 1000 converted on 12s FP 5000's, Lehner 30/80 10turn, Kontronik Jazz 63v ESC, Mega Infinity 960-SR charger, Aluminum/CF upgrade kit and a Futaba 4pk.
Thats my dream setup.

I've been dying to get myself a HPI Baja for a while, but since we're talking dream RCs I'd go for an electric Baja. I'd go with a Neu 2230 3Y on 20S lipo and a CC SHV controller (probably go for the 200, even though I could use a smaller one).
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I want either an FG truck like our new friend from Germany posted, or a Baja 5T... Run on a giant lehner or more likely the fattest Neu that wont rip it to pieces. The wife said I could pick one with the tax return this year. (though ill wager our heating bill eats most of that return quickly) The sc8 looks nice too, but I feel like going big.
