one I have seen on the net was a turbine powered RC Phantom jet that the owner used a hair dryer to start the turbine with and it did sound like an actual jet....

2c - should be a 1515, a DX3S, those batteries are a bad choice.

Mine is probably a 4wd HPI Baja with a 30.5CC engine. I could make it brushless, but then I wouldn't abuse it as much.

im really excited about the rc8t i have listed in my signature that will be here this week....my christmas and birthday present to myself. the truck is coming from amain and everything else is coming from mike along with his new chassis.
but for another dream car itd have to be a brushless FG 4wd 5th scale truck, or a brushless crawler (ive seen some that jump from rock to rock it seems)

Yeah, its just a throw together the motor is a 1512 because all the 1515's are backorder.

Hey Trev, go with a Z9100T servo, the S model will not have enough torque. Or go with a jr 8711, that is a badass servo, sepecially the HV model that can handle 2s lipo input. I would wire a ccbec directly into it, and turn it up to 7v. What a monster!!!!

a monster truck with monster truck clearance but with a center diff and easy to maintain/takeout front and rear diff's that handles like a 8ight, is as quick as a r40, as big as a muggy, jumps like a rc8t, as tough as a savage, as cool looking as a revo, as scale as an sc8, that ,while on 6s lipos neu 1515 2.5d/f with a MMM, wieghs 5 pounds and is easier to wrench on than a radio flyer...yeah...that about sums it up....
Losi SCTE
MMP/1410 3800kv

God Only Knows??? -
12.01.2008, 08:23 AM
I sure hope that I live long enough to see some of the projects that I would like to do. I have been playing with my Maxx collection for like three years now, and still have not gotten them setup the way I want. My R/C dreams are like a kid in a candy store. I have to say that I really do prefer the brushless vehicles to the gas/nitro power. Just too much bother with fuels and such. There are just a few that I hope to build. The Helfire, the XTM/MMT, The Baja 5b/SS, A nice road racer, and overall I would just like to build something that will go over 100MPH, and a 4X4 that will go right through brick walls and keep right on going, and most of all learn how to drive like the pros do. Not too much to ask???
