I think a truggy would be more suited to this motor= more durable.

HAHA. I am sure that someone on the traxxas forum has graphs of a single vxl getting close to that, most likely using maxamps lipos too.

The LST2/Muggy will handle the power better, but this is sure a good way to shut down the V-Twin users. My 1515 beat my Revo into the ground (which is why I sold it and bought a Muggy, far superior drivetrain).
I have a muggy roller sitting around. And my aftershock may get to try this motor out too. Problem is that now I am on a crawler kick now. I will be back to MT soon. My r/c interest seem to go in cycles...

I was only trying to say that a 1521 will be able to handle higher gearing for longer than the vtwin setup will. I know the vxl motor is decent, but is designed for a 10th scale 2wd truck. Plus it will get hot with alot of load, no way to get around its efficientcy. The Neu motor design is superior to a feigao. I am sure that a 1506 of similar spec will outperform the vxl motor.
All i ever really did was run for a minute or two, I never could secure the eagletree to do longer. Also, all runs were done on blacktop, with the first gen eagletree micro data logger.

I never said that the VXL was the best, The comment that the VXL could never see 1000 watts made me comment, I know it was peak, but it did

BTW, I'd never bet against a single Neu, of any Kind, When a V-twin was involved

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Don't see why not. Good too because it's one heavy mofo of a truggy.
