Cheap LiPo alarm -

Hi everybody,
I'm wondering whether this cheap LiPo alarm could be soldered directly to my ESC? http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7223 As the cutoff on my VXL ESC isn't all that good, so I wanted to use something cheap. I know it comes with a plug to solder the leads to, which you plug into the battery, but could I just solder it directly to my ESC power wires? As I would have thought it would keep the same voltage? |

Yes or just use the balance plug on lipo... which is what that extra connector is for...

I think I'll stick to soldering it to the ESC, as knowing my luck I would solder it up to the balancer plug backwards.
