Looking for a oddball inrunner - 01.09.2009, 01:32 AM

Ok, I have a project that needs a weird motor. Dimensions need to be like a std 540 brushed motor, so 36mm diamter, 50mm max length (preferably shorter) with a 25mm mount pattern with m3 thread, and a 1/8 shaft.

Now for the special part. I would like a 6 pole motor, and a kv somewhere around 1500. Now anything from 1000kv to 2000kv will be useable...

Something capable of about 300watts would be desirable.

So get to if fellas! I know some of you can find just about anything...

Here you go, this meets all criteria except for the 3.2mm shaft part, this one has a 5mm.

12 poles is ok, looking for a torquey motor. I may go down to the 22/10/8 as it is around 1500kv and shorter. The can length is my main spec I have to meet as space is at a premium...

I think based on dimensions you are going to put a motor in place of diff cup?

No but that does sound cool...

It is going in my 6x6 tlt axle based crawler. Tight squeeze with the links and driveshafts.
