Tekno Neu 1515 2D or 1Y? - 03.16.2009, 08:13 AM

I have been running a 1515 2.5D in my e-revo for some time and like how smooth the motor is. I understand the difference in concept between the winds but don't know if the Delta wind is the reason it is so smooth, maybe it's just my imagination but I was hoping someone can confirm.

I am thinking about getting a motor for another e-revo build coming up soon however I am not sure if I should get a 2D (2050kv) or 1Y (2200kv). If anyone has suggestions please share.

Large majority of the time will be spent at 6S. Regarding running style, I am a basher cruising around the neighborhood and area construction sites, occasional speed runs but not much into back flips or crazy jumping.

If you are running mostly on 6s, get the 2D. It will be a touch more efficient and run a touch cooler as well.

IMO I would stick with the 2.5d unless you like shorter runtimes and a hotter motor
