The center diff will break if a 380S brushless motor is used on the mlst.
Try doing the spring washer mod on the F/R diff. I modded my read viscous diff with bigger washers to replace the weak original washer. This mod caused the bevel gears to be pressed tight against the spider gears. The diff action isn't as loose as before. It is rather gritty and tight but it doesn't seem to affect handling much. I had the mlst on brushless and did this mod when I first got it. Since then it has been almost 1.5 years and the spider gears hasn't broke once.
I did a check on the diffs 2 weeks back but it seemed that they have been worn out quite a bit. They look like they will give way anytime soon. The viscous metal ring and pinion gears are pretty much worn out as well. But not bad considering I run 2 or 3 packs through it every weekend.
