What's the most powerfull setup d8t ? - 09.06.2009, 06:06 AM

Hi !

I'm thinking of building an insane hb d8t truggy So i'd like to know how powerfull bl-motors the driveline can handle ? Would it handle an neu 1521 or even 1527motor on 6s lipo ?

probably would for 3 or 4 packs. Then you would have to rebuild your transmission. Be sure to check for enough clearance on motor and to buy lipos that can handle these motors, otherwise you would be wasting your money.

You don't have to run a truggy on 6s. They can be run on 4s with good batteries. I have been extremely happy with a 1515 2.5D on 5s and many others here run that same setup.

RC-Monster RC8T 1515 2.5D/MMM/5s RC-M 4500mah
SC10 MMPro 13.5T 2s NeuEnery 5000mah
RC18T Mamba 25/5400kv 2s lipo + 6s NiMh

the 2200 combo will have u blowing the tires of with even low gearing in a truggy on 6s. i would go 4s if your just starting out or 5s if u want some real power without hurting the drive train. it should hold up on 6s as well but use caution
