Nah, I just needed an excuse to see that ad again

Yeah that's just the kind of comment I'd expect from someone living in the 'schwank' of the US... It is a balmy 18 degrees here, I can sense your envy. And it's gonna be around 0 the next few days. I can send you a travel brochure if you like...

Good job man, I don't think you can get the cog or weight down any more. I think it'll TROMP your truggybuddies.

there is something about that voice! goddamnit, now I'm on the ground doing tha crappie flop. It looks like a cross between a seizure and breakdancing, but it feels oh so good. And the carpet burn reminds me of Sean's whiskers!

It's DONE ! - 02.12.2010, 05:49 PM

Shock tower arrived and the truck is complete, FINIALLY !!!
Weather will not permit any testing, copious amount of rain today. Maybe Sunday, I'll get lucky and it'll be dry enough. My fat fingers crossed ?
Open to comments and suggestions and questions.
Shipping the body off for a one-off paint job by RustyXL-5 Sat, confident it'll be bitchin'

It never was a particularly light truck but it was sturdy. Is'nt there some weight savings in changing shocks?

that's way light for an LST, and with the low COG that rig should fly. Now you just need a competent individual behind the transmitter!

Ya Know Harold, If it wasn't for the fact that your 100% correct I'd almost take offense to that !

Only testing at the house and the bash spot. Between weather and my schedual I haven't ben able to hit the track yet(It's a 100mile round trip). But, the tests have ben very promiseing. Just screwing around at the bash spot I'm happy to report that the COG is very truggy-ish in handleing and the smart diff has made a monumental difference in how the truck steers and puts the power down through and coming out of a turn. Again, a run at the track will test these findings more accurately.
Hopefully weather permitting I'll get to the track thursday next week and I surely hope to get some video.
With wanting to go with the smallest MAH pack possible I may reconfigure my motor choice and elect to go 6s if track tests go the way I'm hopeing.
