FLM Flux - 01.22.2010, 12:15 PM

Do I need anything else, if I buy this set for my Flux, and how is it compared to just buy the ext. tvpīs for my Flux?

Dont see why it wouldn't work. Depends on what your goal is - do you want a center mounted single battery set up (which this gives), or two external mounts (which the FLUX extended TVP's gives)?

Thatīs my concern. I kind a like it all to be inside the tvpīs, but wondering if the small space between the motor and the battery will provide too much heat.

Good choice- I wouldnt worry about heat really, so long as there is a small air gap between lipo and motor nothing will get hurt- the holes in the TVPs allow plenty of ventilation. You can look at Nard Cox's recent build with this chassis, he can probably help you with any questions or issues:

You won't regret it; the only problem are the straps/holders for your batteries. You need to create a decent way to mount them, the relative small pins that hold the batteries are too small for my likings, the LIPO's will deform after a crash.

It's a beautiful kit, and a true pleasure to install.

something to keep in mind; the news here was that customs are very busy at this moment, due to the fact that more and drugs is spotted in parcels. (seems to be a trent) i need to wait 4 weeks before a package was declared by customs. This is most likely causing the delay for you too.

OK, thanks. The thing is not the time in customs. USPS send it into customs in Canada, and not Denmark where I live. But Mike is on it, so hopefully they find it soon.

I have been thinking about the batterymounts as well, but I will figure something out, when I have build it.
