I love RCs. And I find it odd that your last two post both show that they are your 451st posts. But let's not forget that the cold water tap is always to the right. You know of a place where I can buy left socks? My dryer eats my left socks all the time. Anywho! Gotta go see if the grass is greener on the other side. No it's not greener on the other side, it's just dirt.

Personally, I have no issue with Arct1k deleting a repeated and pointless theme. I find it strange the OP says to PM or elevate to Mike, yet this thread has taken off. Again, I have no issue if it gets deleted.
I believe the company headquarter is in Korea and the manufacturing facilities are in China.
But when a company says built for us or exclusive.Maybe they mean in terms of the industries they service I.E. hobbies(I.E. RC),cars, mopeds and so on.

To closeout this thread I was offered 50% off a new pack as this was already a replacement for a failed pack...
So, are you going to pay 50% off for another pack ( that may well fail due to.... ) in the hope that its 3rd time lucky, or are you going to mail the pack back to them with a horse's head?

as with v1 MMM's maxamps only failures are due to user error or misuse. What does Arct1ck know about lipos or the safe use and handling of them?

He probably tried to start his 1:1 car with it

(please note sarcasm)

when you have a handshake type of business relationship it is not nice to have bashing of your paternal partner going on within your own forum. Hey Harold how the hell are you? Have not seen you in here much lately. Everything OK? Good to see you on line again.

Pinkpanda, unfortunately for you, the forum does not just consist of you. If you see a thread you don't like don't read it. To say that no one else can discuss it because you have had enough is an arrogant and conceited attitude. The fact that this thread is continuing is testament that people are perfectly willing to discuss this issue.

Sorry E-Sav, you are wrong, many top quality cells are mad in CHINA! China does not automatically mean garbage. So many people have no clue what actually comes out of the country. There are good people there making good products. There is plenty of garbage that has come out of the US too.

Sorry, but your "it automatically sucks because it comes from China" argument is wrong. Why don't you take a better look at what all you own that comes from China.

Exactly, most packs right now are made in China, doesn't mean it's slave labor junk. Quit a few 'audiophile' amplifier and speaker brands are moving to China with superb quality control, only top qualified workers are allowed to work for them. Packs are either:

-Cells made in China, packs made in South Korea or Japan
-Cells made in China, packs made in China (professional shops or cheap labor shops)
-Cells made in Korea, packs made in Korea
-Cells made in China, packs made in USA (maxamps)
-any others I am just not thinking of?

All the best packs you can buy right now are from China as far as I know (both cells and packs) ex. HP G3's.....TP G4's

Honestly I don't think it's always the MA cells that are to blame. I think the construction method of parralleling cells is to blame for more than 1/2 the failures. I like that there packs are a standard size and they just make them taller for more voltage or mah though.

That too. I am not sure on this anymore, but I have heard they also don't match their cells, either capacity or cell Ri, or both... but they may have changed that policy.
