Trace it only some thicker aluminium sheet/plate ( 1/8" or 3mm should do nicely ) and cut out a new one- you only need a hacksaw, cordless drill and some small hand-files.

That is sooo much easyier said than done.... I think I may stick with my zip ties till I get some FLM shock towers..... Mostly cause I'm lazy, partially cause Im not sure if I could ACTUALLY work the metal without drawing my own blood

The things we do to keep our wings?????

Thanks Neil

Dude, I am the laziest guy i know and a fair bit clumsy. I made an adapter for using a RC-monster Revo motor mount in a RC10GT, It only took 20 minutes and no blood. Most any lowes or home depot type store has the material and it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to make. But i guess Zip-ties can work

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Or just make it a square and drill the holes in the right spots. who said it needed to be an X shape. I sandwiched a shock tower and then used ball links for spacers inside... The wing mount bolts right on there very simple

You can do it. It's easy. "If there's a will, there's a way".
