You may want to look at the 5955 tg hi tec. Not the 5995. They are real close in specs. The amount of movement is different.

The futuba has the epa on it. You can cut it back some. no need for the hrs.

It's digi, so HRS could benefit you somewhat if you were racing. I run my 3PK in HRS mode and response is great with digi servos!

I too thought about a 1/4 scale servo, the holding power in them is amazing!

Not a good idea on a race truck though.

High Response System. It reacts really quickly with digital servos. 5 Times faster than the likes of airtronics M8. If you use it with analog servos you get this strange vibrating buzzing noise. and if you use it long term, you'll see some flames! (According to Futaba)

Mine was about like Serums. Less than 8lbs. RTR. I was running a XL3100 on 12 cells and the thing was fast as a bat out of hell...

and to think I was goin' to get the 3080... thank God I didn't.... I'm jus gonna keep that 2280 for display.. or maybe use it as a hammer... If i can get a roller that's about 7lbs - 8Lbs, Ill be happy... I would like 16lbs with 24 cells.... that would be good for me... i will invest in one of those Hitec TG servos.. I never knew they had them ..... awesome.... Anyone knows (roughly) the weight of a fastlane machine compared to stock... maybe build all fastlane, except with flextek arms... their warranty iis very good?

Can you outline what you've done to get down to 7lbs with 4S? That's just unreal!

My Revo with Maxamps 8000 is about 10lbs 2oz, or about 8lbs 10oz without batteries. I'm running the 40 series proline bowties on 23mm adapters, custom conversion (Revo chassis, emaxx battery trays). I've got the traxxas Al pushrods/turnbuckes, Al pivot balls. My servo is a little heavy maybe, an airtronics '357 w/heatsink. I also have the gorilla single speed conversion with an Al output shaft. Oh yea, I have the Novak HVMaxx 6.5.

What can I do to shed 3 lbs?!?! I'm thinking about maybe the Gorilla CF chassis kit, but I can't imagine that would save much weight, would it?
