tanic packs double power wires ?? - 01.24.2007, 08:19 PM

I just ordered one of these packs primarily for a "hotliner" glider I have that draws around 100 amps on full throttle but it'll probably find it's way into something with wheels occasionally as well ;)
Notice that it has 2 positive and 2 negative power wires ?? Thoughts ??
I mean I like the concept but the heaviest ga wire in any of my systems is 12 ga I think...maybe some 10 ga somewhere :024:
Should I double up all my wires at the esc on the battery and motor side to take advantage of this larger ampacity ??? Maybe find some 4ga wire ??? :020:

Those packs are rated at 250amps peak draw. I have a feeling a single Deans connector can't take that. You don't necessary have to match that, but if you plan on pulling 250amps, it wouldn't hurt.

Yeah, I know. What I meant is that they probably use two plugs because a single one wouldn't be able to handle the current that battery can put out.
