it was a plettenberg bigmaxximum.. i am currently working on my new house, within a few months i will baptise my maxx with a nice setup.. (lehner 22XX (don't know if to take a 2240 or a 2250.. and load my savage with a 7XL and the 9920 + 18 cells (got that set allready)

remember, it is a 14.3 lbs heavy truck.. it's not really sluggish.. rather quick of the hook if you ask me..

How did you get 40 minutes runtime?! Thats insane, is it only slug slow though?

I'm thinking of the XL3100 with 9918 on 14 cells, don't know how powerful that would be.

You underestimate the 7XL squee.. (or feigao in general) it is about as powerfull as the bigmaxximum and about 1 percent more efficient (i once saw some calculations from a person on this board, can't remember who it was, or in what topic that was) Lehner is coming out with a feigao family motor, with another type of magnet, which makes it more efficient in the partitial load area.

It's not plettenberg i got a thing against, it's is that one option for the controller that bugs me.. still waiting for MGM or CastleCreation to make a controller that can handle a fourpole like that on 18-20 cells. Perhaps then i buy a plettenberg again.

But on the other hand... Those 2240-2250's can take a bigmaxx with ease..

It says it is for 12 cells, will I be bushing it on 14 with the Warrior 9918?

Won't suck up all my runtime either?

no, on 12 cells mine does about 45-50 easy. so 12 cells is plenty. also with old 2400 sanyos i was getting about 12 minutes of runtimes, so i wouldnt worry about that. the xl3100 is very powerful though.

I am using almost brand new 3300's, that are taking nearly 3600mah per charge (1597 last time, it goes up every time I recharge them). I am using the lehner BASIC series, which are very efficient. Lastly the 2000XL is a very cool motor, and with 21.6v on tap I doesn't need to pull much current to get lots of power....

My GP3300s batteries also read 3500-3800mAh. I don't want them to go any further though, as they might damage the cell.
