I put spacers as well as took a file and shaved the plate down to clear it (you can just make it at an angle, sort of like ___\ instead of _____| this. Just make sure you seal it with CA and you are fine.

This is what i did; I put spacers underneath the shock-holder that is on the 2nd CF plate; about 5mm thick, and you should be good to go.

I also started a thread about this issue, i don't think George did an excellent job on it, (the front is perfect, but the rear is lacking) so i sent him an email too. Perhaps with the new version he can help us out.

For the mean time you can use the spacer.

Very nice Rene, I like it! How would a slipperential work with the motor position? Or wouldn't it?

It looks so pretty with all the clean CF and aluminum. I wouldn't want to drive it!

I was looking at the slipperential design and realized if Mike just incorporated the motor mount on the rear diff mount, then it would work fine (did I just let a cat out of the bag here?).

The only thing one would have to worry about is clearing the "pinion" on the slipper shaft that drives the diff.
