g maxx revo diffs

hi i have a g maxx revo with a g maxx single speed gear box can any one tell me why it would be better to use 1/8 buggy diffs

and im building a bl lst2 would i be better off using diffrent diffs in this
(ie muggy diffs or are these no diffrent)
