My Savage 5T axles finally came in last week. 2 whole weeks using express shipping. At least they came and they are the real deal:

Here they are with the package of spacers

The OFNA adapters have a 12mm offset. When mounted you can see that there's almost a 4mm gap to the bearing.

These 3/16" spacers (3.57mm) fix that issue.

With the spacer on it's a perfect fit. No binding, no play!

I can't take credit for the axles. I got the idea from whattheFLUX over at Savage Central who confirmed that the axles were a fit.

From what I heard the Savage 5T was discontinued in the UK so who knows how long they'll have stock of these axles. I just wish I didnt have to spend what I did to get a 17mm adapter fix.

Been bashing the past few days and so far they've held up to mild jumps and a bunch of cartwheels. For those interested ambient temps are at about 70 and on 6s, 44t/20t, badlands, I'm getting 130 degrees on the 1520. Not bad at all. I dont think I have a need to try to fit in the 1717 maybe unless I feel like running my Big Joes or Trenchers.

One thing I was wondering about was the wheelies, which are non existent. I can't do them at all. Not that they're needed or anything, but it'd be nice if I could pull one on demand. I'm a Savage noob here. How do you guys tighten your slipper? I'm spoiled with the E-Revo which had a hole at the end of the shaft which I could stick my hex driver in to keep the shaft locked while I tighten.
