Neu motors - D vs. Y winds

Hey guys,

I have a 1515 2.5D coming in, but now that I think about it, it may be too much. I'm running an 8XL on 5S and it is stupid powerful. Full throttle is uncontrollable. I am now thinking that I should have gotten the 1.5Y which has a slightly lower kv rating.

I've also heard that the Y wind motors are more efficient. Is this true and if so, does it make a difference?

Is anyone one else running a 1.5Y? How do you like it? I'm going to be running mine in my Muggy conversion.
